In Fall 2024, my Transport Equity Workshop course at UIC analyzed the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) 82 Kimball/Homan bus route from a mobility justice perspective. We focused on how the route performed in North Lawndale, a community area on the West Side of Chicago.

I was the leader of the team analyzing the frequency and reliability of the route. We did an analysis and comparison of Route 82 to the CTA bus network overall, and then a comparison of the CTA bus network to various Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) defined "peer agencies" which include New York City, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles, among other cities.
